20 Dollar Bill Value
Most $20 bills - including 1934 and 1950 notes - are worth about face to a few dollars more. Gold certificates from 1922 and 1928 bring $50–$200, and the 1905 “Technicolor” gold certificate sells for $1,000 and up.

$20 bill value questions
How much is a 1934 twenty dollar bill worth?
Most 1934 $20 Federal Reserve Notes sell for $25–$40 in circulated condition and around $80 or more uncirculated. Star notes and the scarcer 1934 series letters (1934C, 1934D in high grade) bring more.
How much is a 1928 twenty dollar gold certificate worth?
A circulated 1928 $20 gold certificate usually brings $50–$150, and uncirculated notes $400 or more. They are easy to spot: a gold seal and gold serial numbers on the front.
Is my bill worth more because of its serial number?
Sometimes. A star (★) after the serial number marks a replacement note, and short star-note print runs sell for well above face. Collectors also pay premiums for “fancy” serials: very low numbers (00000001–00000100), solids (77777777), ladders (12345678), radars (12344321) and repeaters (12341234). An ordinary serial on a modern bill adds nothing.
